Half Marathon Course Description
This point-to-point, fast and flat, course begins in South Reno at the Swift Sportsdome and ends at the Greater Nevada Field ballpark, home of the Reno Aces! Complete your first mile on city streets before navigating onto the Veteran’s Parkway bike path. This gorgeous path will wind its way up north through pastures and wetlands for the next 5.5 miles. Chances are you’ll spot some wild horses on the way; they are often spotted roaming the surrounding areas! The bike path will then pass through the City of Sparks where it merges with the Truckee River bike path, where you’ll begin heading west towards Reno. This scenic pathway will follow the river all the way to the finish and pass through 9 beautiful city parks. After crossing over the river on a foot bridge and completing the final stretch of the path, you’ll finish directly in front of the ballpark.

Half Marathon & Relay Start Parking at Swift Sportsdome
Please park at the main parking lot for Swift Sportsdome. If you do drive yourself to the start, please note that we will not have a bus service to return you to your car after the race. (When you register for the race, you will be able to purchase a bus ticket for $7 (6:15 am or 7:15 am) if you want a ride. Be aware that there are a limited number of bus tickets. Once they are all claimed, you will need to find your own way to the start line.)

Half Marathon Relay Exchange Point
Please park at 1430 E Greg St, Sparks, NV 89431, near the warehouses. The relay exchange area will be held just east of here near the Greg St/Veteran’s Pkwy intersection, in a large open space near the river. At no point are you allowed to drive onto the relay exchange area itself, please park only in the designated parking lots near the warehouses.
IMPORTANT: After parking, YOU MUST USE THE CROSSWALK near the parking lot to cross the street. Race staff and Sparks Police Officers will be present to help guide traffic and get you across safely, please follow their direction. Please arrive early and plan for about 5-15 min to park and walk safely over to the relay exchange. Once at the relay exchange area, you’ll have plenty of room to warm up and watch for your runner. Bathrooms and an aid station will be there for your convenience.
5K Course
5K Course Description
This out and back course starts and finishes at Greater Nevada Field, home of the Reno Aces! You’ll leave the ballpark and quickly enter the Truckee River bike path. Follow this path as it traces the river and passes through 4 beautiful city parks before turning around and racing back! High five your friends and family if you see them on the return and finish right in front of the ballpark.
5K Start/Finish Parking
Please plan to park at the Greater Nevada Field parking garage across from the road (E. 2nd St.) from the stadium. The entrance is located on Ballpark Ln, just off of E. 2nd St. Alternative parking can be found along surrounding downtown streets.
