Register Online: Until 3:00 pm, March 14.
5K Race Start/Location: Starts at 8:30 am from City Plaza.
Kid’s Leprechaun Dash Start/Location: Starts at 9:15 am from City Plaza.
After you cross the finish line and enjoy the finish line festival & awards ceremony, keep the fun going with free admission to The Discovery – Reno’s hands-on science center filled with interactive exhibits and family fun! It’s the perfect way to celebrate your 5K finish and explore something new!
Awards: approx. 9:30 am.
What Everyone Gets

- Enjoy a scenic and mostly flat course through Downtown and Midtown, thoughtfully designed to maximize safety and a smooth race experience.
- Free entry into The Discovery on race day by showing your race bib.

Race Specials
All race participants receive an exclusive discount at Reno Running Co. during packet pick-up through March 22. Simply present your 2026 Leprechaun Race bib at checkout.
Awards
Overall: The top 3 female, male and non-binary finishers will receive unique awards.
Age Group: The top 3 female, male and non-binary finishers in each age group will receive awards. The age groups will be 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, and 80+.
Time Limits
All participants must be off City of Reno streets by 9:40 am. The 5K distance allows sufficient time for runners and walkers of all paces to finish comfortably. To maintain safety and meet city guidelines, we may direct participants to move to the sidewalks if necessary.
Strollers
Families with strollers are welcome! To keep the start area safe and smooth for everyone, stroller participants should start near the back with the walkers. Children riding in strollers do not need their own registration.
Pets
No pets allowed for this event. We appreciate your cooperation.
