Course Information
This course features two distances, a point-to-point 10K and an out and back 5K!
The 10K begins at The Brewer’s Cabinet Production Facility, home of the famous Dirty Wookie ale! The first mile leaving the start takes you down city streets and quickly merges onto the paved Truckee River bike path at Mayberry Park. Follow the path over the river and through Dorostkar Park, local west Reno neighborhoods, Crissie Caughlin Park and Idlewild Park. The final mile will weave you through downtown Reno to finish at J Resort’s Glow Plaza; an iconic event space where family, friends, and celebration await you! The course is a net downhill and keeps you moving fast!
The 5K starts at J Resort’s Glow Plaza and runs on city streets to Idlewild Park. Here you’ll complete a loop through the park and then return the way you came. The course is flat and fast!

10K Start Parking at The Brewer’s Cabinet Production Facility
This 10K course is a point-to-point race so you must get yourself to the start at the Brewer’s Cabinet Production Facility. If you want a ride to the start, you have three options for a bus pick up time at J Resort’s Glow Plaza (the finish) – 7:20, 7:40 or 8:00 am. The cost is a nonrefundable $7. If you choose to drive yourself to the start, we will not have a bus service to return you to your car/start after the race. Be aware that there are a limited number of bus tickets. Once they are all claimed, you will need to find your own way to the start line.
If you drive yourself to the starting line at the Brewer’s Cabinet Production Facility, please park at the streetside parking along White Fir St or Woodland Ave near the facility.

5K Start & 10K Finish Parking at J Resort’s Glow Plaza
Please park in Lot E, south of Glow Plaza on W Third St. Look for event parking signs. Please be aware of road closures in place on Ralston St; it will be easiest to approach the parking lot from Keystone Ave.
